The St. Barth Summer Camp Yoga Challenge is a yearly island “better living” event now entering its eighth year.
Open to all practice levels, the 5-week, a-la-carte wellness program combines the richness and depth of the yogic tradition with daily community practice.
The Summer Camp’s carefully curated menu offers daily scheduled group classes as well as learning activities to keep body fit and mind sound. A variety of yoga traditions open a multi-faceted inquiry into improved range-of-motion, strength, flexibility, breath and mindfulness that all explore this year’s theme, «Roots, an Essential Foundation».
Whether you are joining us for a day, a week or for the entire summer camp, you’ll be able to plug into the group’s energy as we attempt to define and harness how a strong sense of foundation can improve our lives.
Concepts taught in the studio are further supported with off- mat work. Outdoor hikes and stimulating water work provide a steady dose of cardiovascular challenge, lymphatic drainage, fresh air, and sunshine.
This wellness event is purposefully engineered to accommodate both locals and visitors.
For those who want to go deeper and dig in to the teachings, week-long modules, class packs, and a comprehensive summer pass allow you to anchor your yoga commitment and take your practice to new levels. The camp’s open-door policy and bilingual instruction (French / English) create a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange.
In addition to the camp’s regular program, the Yoga University offers workshops and conferences on a variety of health-related topics. This interactive classroom is a marvellous way to learn first-hand about some of the best techniques and trending topics in the field of wellness directly from some of the island’s top wellness professionals.
I look forward to welcoming you to an exceptional experience that will cultivate radiant confidence and health. Pack your mat, bring your sunscreen, and join me for a golden summer of self-discovery, personal growth, friendships and exchange!
